Delegation of Pakistan Pharmacists association Visited on 01/06/2023 Punjab Health Care commission office in continuation to request made on oath taking to Dr Javed Akram minister SHCME.

Director Clinical Governance welcomed the delegates and Chaired the meeting.
Following agenda points were Discussed.
1.Induction/ availability of Pharmacists in Private Hospital (one Pharmacist /20beds)at the analogy of yard stick recently notified by Primary & Secondary Healthcare department Punjab. Punjab Health care commissions Directors Agreed to device policy for induction of one Pharmacist/ 20 beds.
2.They also committed to monitor the availability/ presence of pharmacists in their routine inspection check list for private hospital during PHC registration process and afterwards regular monitoring.
3. Point of prescribing rights of pharmacists for general ailments likewise practicing in modren world was discussed and a policy will be furnished for such practice.
Dr furqan Hasmi President PPA Punjab presented the documented framework of international pharmacy services.
Delegate thanked PHC officials for considering the requests of PPA for better Service Delivery.
